The only
thing I like better than painting my own silk designs is having the
opportunity to teach someone else this intriguing, ancient art...
and I'm lucky enough to be able to do that quite often.

Then there's my
other favorite thing: jewelry.
I started out
"rescuing" vintage beads and jewelry from auctions and estate sales
so I could sew a few beads on the corners of some of the scarves.
Then I used the leftovers to make a few bracelets... and
necklaces... and then I decorated some vases that needed a punch of
"bling". You can see where this is going, can't you?

fibers carry the dyes differently on each piece) and unique jewelry
designs (when the beads on a vintage piece are used up, that's all
